Cambodia & Vietnam with Mekong Delta
Day 1: Siem Reap Arrival
Suas'dei, welcome to the Kingdom of Wonder! You will be greeted by our hospitable guide and transferred to our hotel in town. Free and relax overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 2: Angkor Thom - Ta Prohm - Angkor Wat (B)
After breakfast in hotel, start your visit to the ancient city of Angkor Thom, surrounded by an 8m high wall. Angkor Thom was the last capital of the Great Khmer Empire under the reign of Jayavarman VII. Continue to Bayon Temple in the exact centre of the city. This 12th century masterpiece is a study in grandeur, its exterior gallery walls featuring extensive, superb bas-reliefs, particularly the East and South Galleries. In Angkor Thom you will see the fabulous Bayon Temple, Baphuon, the royal enclosure, and the Terraces of the Elephants and the Leper King. Continue to Ta Prohm Temple, unlike most other Angkor temples, has been left just it was when rediscovered: a photogenic and atmospheric maze of trees growing out of temple ruins amidst jungle surroundings, making it one of Angkor's most popular temples with visitors. In the afternoon you will visit the famous Angkor Wat, viewing the wonderful bas-relief carvings, and the reflection of main towers in the moat.
Overnight in Siem Reap
Day 3: Siem Reap-Phnom Penh-Royal Palace-Toul Sleng (B)
In the morning, you will head out to Phnom Penh city by land transfer. After arrival, you will start your day exploring the famous Royal Palace, built in 1866 under the French protectorate and King Norodom. Then you will gain insight into Cambodia's recent history on a visit to the remarkable Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, housed in a former school that was taken over by the Khmer Rouge and used as its main detention and torture centre, named 'S-21'. A grim but important visit that will help you to understand Cambodia better.
Overnight at Phnom Penh
Day 4: Phnom Penh - Ho Chi Minh (B)
After breakfast, you will transfer to Barvet border. Welcome then greet by our guide.
Transfer to hotel in Ho Chi Minh. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.
Day 5: Cu Chi Tunnels - Ho Chi Minh (B)
Drive 70kms from Ho Chi Minh City, stopping en route to visit a rice paper making village, and you will reach Cu Chi Tunnels. After an introductory video, viewing various mantraps, the remains of an American tank and numerous bomb craters, you will spend the next hour exploring the maze of tunnels to see how the Viet Cong survived in this underground network. In the afternoon, visit the Reunification Palace, the home and workplace of the President of South Vietnam during the Vietnam War. It witnessed the end of the Vietnam War during the Fall of Saigon on April 30, 1975, when a North Vietnamese Army tank crashed through its gates. Visit The nearby Notre Dame Cathedral Final visit of the day is to Ben Thanh Market - an icon of the city, stands in the center of District 1. Packed to the rafters with everything from fruits to nuts, from tourist kitsch to true bargains, it is a definite must-see.
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City
Day 6: Mekong Delta (B, L)
After breakfast at hotel, you transfer to Mekong Delta and Vinh Long province Starts with a cruise among local barges full of fruits and vegetables in the colorful Cai Be floating market. An optional stop can be made at local workshops where you can see rice paper, coconut candy, pop-rice and pop-corn being made. Your lunch of Mekong specialties will be served in Bonsai Garden. Then a rowing boat will take you deeper into the countryside via small canals to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, passing by traditional wood and palm-leaf houses, and local farmers doing their daily work. After walking around the village, you can enjoy seasonal fruits when listening to Southern traditional music. Transferred back to Saigon. Free to explore the city at night.
Overnight in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City)

Day 7: Ho Chi Minh - Departure transfer to Airport (B)
