ARRIVAL TO AMMAN

Welcome to Jordan! Finalize the airport procedure and head to your hotel in Amman.

Day 2

AMMAN - AL-SALT AMMAN PANORAMIC - AMMAN

After breakfast, we head to visit the ancient town of As-Salt where you will visit the downtown area, and the museum. As- Salt was once the most important city in the area between the Jordan Valley and the eastern desert due to its historical importance as the trading link between the eastern desert and the west. Head just outside of As-Salt where lies the tomb of Ayyub (Job), a wealthy and powerful man who endured hardships to prove his loyalty to God. Drive to Amman the capital city of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Start with the downtown area & enjoy the old part of Amman.
Embark a panoramic city tour of the capital city of Jordan, starts from the city center heading to the old Gold Souq, passing by most popular Arabic sweets in Jordan and you can try famous (Konafa / soft white cheese topped with pastry ). Then proceed to the old bazaars & get the chance to buy some Souvenirs with cheap prices. Continue to the Rainbow street where you will find too many coffee shops & restaurants nearby & available. Finally, pass through Abdoun which presenting the newest part of Amman combined with the best modern style. Overnight stay in Amman

Day 3

AMMAN - JERASH ANJARA - MAR ELIAS - AMMAN

Today we head to visit the ancient Roman city of Jerash, including the paved and colonnaded streets, soaring hilltop temples, theatres, spacious public squares and plazas, baths, fountains and city walls. Continue to Anjar, the town where Jesus Christ, his mother Mary and his disciples passed through and rested in a nearby cave now commemorated with the church of Our Lady of the Mountain. Last stop will be Tall Mar Elias, the site where the prophet Elijah is believed to have ascended to Heaven in a whirlwind on a chariot of fire. Overnight stay in Amman

Day 4

AMMAN - PELLA UM QAIS - AMMAN

This day you will start with Pella where you can see the remains of a Chalcolthic settlement the 4th millennium BC, Byzantine churches and houses and a small medieval mosque. Proceed to Um Qais, previously known as Gadara, a city renowned as the site of the famous miracle of the Gadarene swine, a cultural center in its time and the home to several classical poets and philosophers Promenade through Um Qais and see its colonnaded street, vaulted terrace and the ruins of two theatres. Day 5

AMMAN - MADABA - NEBO - UM RASSAS - PETRA

Continue with the Jesus steps and start the day with visiting Madaba, a city best known for the famous 6th century Mosaic map of Jerusalem & Holy Land and for its spectacular Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics and visit of St. George’s church. Drive after that to Mt. Nebo (site only as the church is closed down for renovation) a city mentioned in the bible as the place where Moses was granted a view of the Promised Land that he would never enter. Continue till you reach Um Ar Rassas is mentioned in the old and new testaments and the Romans fortified it and the local Christians and a UNESCO World Heritage site Overnight stay in Petra

Day 6

VISITING PETRA CITY

Breakfast at your hotel in Petra, visit the Nabatean Red Rose city of Petra, one of the 7 world wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Enter the city through 1KM long narrow gorge which is flanked either side by 80m high cliffs! Notice the dazzling colors and formations of the rocks. The site is massive, and contains hundreds of elaborated rock-cut tombs, a treasury, Roman-style theatres, temples, sacrificial altars and colonnaded streets. Have your lunch at Bedouin tent inside the sight of Petra. Overnight stay in Petra.

Day 7

PETRA - MUKAWIR - BETHANY - AMMAN

Mukawir is the site of Machaerus, mentioned in the New Testament as the palace in which Salome danced in exchange for the head of Johan the Baptist on a platter (Mark 6:21- 29). After that counties to the baptismal site of Jesus Christ (Bethany beyond Jordan).John the Baptist (pbuh) prepared the way for the arrival of the Messiah, and John's ministry itself marked the beginning of the preaching of "the gospel of the Kingdom of God" (Luke 16:16). Some of the pivotal events in John's life and his heralding of the coming of Jesus took place in Jordan. Though Jesus Christ's divinely inspired role was announced before and during His birth, He launched His public ministry at Bethany beyond the Jordan at age 30, immediately after He was baptized by John and anointed by God (Luke 3:21- 23, Acts 1:21-22). Day 8

DEPARTURE AMMAN

After breakfast, transfer to Queen Alia International Airport for departure to your final destination.
